Porter County is seeking to fight the opioid epidemic by providing funds to organizations working to support people in treatment and recovery. The funds are appropriated through grants disbursed via the Unrestricted Fund.
The Center Township Board of Porter County, Indiana, is encouraging any interested resident of Center Township to submit written information indicating a desire to serve on the Board of Education, Valparaiso Community Schools.
In partnership with the City of Valparaiso and Habitat for Humanity, Home Team Valpo is a new nonprofit organization created to assist qualifying homeowners in maintenance of their homes.
Currently, Porter County Habitat for Humanity is seeking families who would like to work toward the goal of homeownership.
The public is invited to attend the Center Township Board meeting.
