Center Township Board Appointment to the Board of Education, Valparaiso Community Schools
The Center Township Board of Porter County, Indiana, is encouraging any interested resident of Center Township to submit written information indicating a desire to serve on the Board of Education, Valparaiso Community Schools. Along with the written application, the following criteria apply to any applicant:
1.) Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
2.) Must reside within the physical boundaries of Center Township, Porter County, Indiana.
Individuals applying may submit written information either by mail or personally (no facsimiles will be accepted) to the Center Township Trustees Office at 202 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN 46383, beginning Monday, March 10, 2025, and ending Monday, April 14, 2025. The Trustee’s office is open Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM, excluding legal holidays. Information submitted should include name, address, and telephone number along with the completed application. Applications can be found at www.centertownshiptrustee.net and/or picked up from the Trustee’s office. You may also email jesse@centertownshiptrustee.net to request an application be emailed to you.
The Center Township Board will convene on:
- 1.) Monday, May 12, 2025, 5:30 PM, 202 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, in Executive (closed) Session to select a minimum of three (3) applicants.
- 2.) Monday, May 19, 2025, 6:00 PM at 155 Indiana Avenue, County Administration Building (Commissioners Chambers) for a Public Meeting to interview and choose an appointment.
